Employment & Volunteer Opportunities

The Character Center is always looking for committed, qualified, and talented individuals who desire to make a difference in the lives of America's youth and our community.

Currently, we are looking for college students with a "B" average or better are capable of instructing young children in K-8th grades in one-on-one and group settings. If you are a retired or former school teacher and you love students, we encourage you to contact us as well.

Specific subject areas needed are reading, writing, math, and science. Students needing community service hours required for graduation and/or internships are also welcome.

Current volunteers and interns include college students from the College of Social Work, Pharmacy, Business & Administration, and the Department of Education. We also encourage fraternity and sorority members looking for positive community service experience to also apply.
